Chinae Regni Pars [i.e. China] is shown on the south-eastern border with the Great Wall of China pictorially represented along this border. It is distinguished from Janssonius' almost identical map by Blaeu's inclusion of degrees of longitude along upper and lower borders plus meridians crossing the map. Decorative features include two colourful cartouches, pictorial representation of mountains and forests, the dress of the inhabitants, and a camel, indicating the mode of transport in this remote part of China.
