Summary

Unsigned manuscript, comprising the tales of The good sister Amy or the skillful nurse, Little Annie and her nurse and the conclusion of The little cousins. 6 closely written sheets, plus an inscription about the tales and address panel to William Johnson (Vidal's brother) at King's College Cambridge.

Biography/History

Writer. Mary Theresa Vidal published as Mrs Francis Vidal. Tales for the Bush, published in 1845, was the first collection of short stories to be published in Australia.
