The map details the main streets and their names, numbered blocks of land (but not their owners or companies), railway lines and the Torrens River. The centre of the map is marked Site of the Proposed Exhibition for 1887, where the facilities for the Adelaide Jubilee International Exhibition of 1887 was to be built.
