Extract from the handwritten journal of Philip Gidley King, 1790, previously unpublished; includes a description of the capture of Bennelong, whose five names were "Bennelon, Wollarewarra Boiriba Bunde-bunda Wage-trowey"; names of some of the Sydney clans; vocabulary was copied from Mr Collins and Governor Phillip; also includes a printed version of the vocabulary which was expanded by John Hunter and published in 'An Historical Journal of the Transactions at Port Jackson and Norfolk Island ... 1793"
