| Biography/History |
Professor Mandyam Srinivasan holds a PhD in engineering and applied science from Yale University. He is Professor of Visual Sciences at the Australian National University's Research School of Biological Sciences and the Director of the University's Centre for Visual Science. He received the 2006 Prime Minister's Prize for Science for a unique research career that has revealed the working of the insect mind, and helped redefine robotics research.
