Summary

A colour poster featuring drawings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people engaged in various activities like hunting, fishing, playing sport and gardening arranged around a central food pyramid. The food pyramid includes illustrations of packaged foods as well as traditional or bush foods like possum, shark, kangaroo, snake, crab, and shellfish. Illustrations at the foot of the poster at the left show soft drinks, wine, beer and spirits, lollies and sweets, oil, sugar, and cigarettes beneath the words "too much of these". The poster then shows an equal sign (=) and two black silhouetted figures - one is too thin, and the other too fat - next to a list of the health problems eating too much of these things can cause. Poster has a yellow background, and is enclosed in a border of patterns and pictures of tools, musical instruments, tools, snakes and goannas which is divided into sections of different colours. Queensland Health logo shown at lower left corner.
