The Brendan Trent series

Summary

"In 2365, Brendan Trent discovers a ruined temple on his parents farm, in the Gippsland region of south-east Victoria. The discovery puts him in contact with an eminent archaeologist, Professor Josiah Stanton, who along with his team, travels to Australia to uncover the mystery. It is discovered that the new site has links to the ancient civilisations of Central Mexico, in particular to a site the Professor had recently un-earthed in Mexico. The adventure leads the group to London, to further their research, where a member of their party, Jamie Herron, having been reunited after an estrangement, is kidnapped. Jamie is located and rescued, which leads to a chase and the eventual deaths and/or capture of the protagonists."--Provided by publisher.
