Barry Farnsworth talks about his early memories of the Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind Nursery; the reason why Sister Lindsey took him home to care for him at the age of 8. His mother Margery Gavin's thoughts about Sister Lindsey; the family circumstances at the time Barry was admitted to the RVIB Nursery; the presentation of John Wilson Awards to Sister Lindsey and Barry Farnsworth. Barry's age and length of residence at Elanora Aged Care Facility is discussed; his interests, friends, famous people he has met; his mobility in RVIB Nursery with a special walker and now with a custom-made chair. Additional comments by Marge and June about Sister Lindsey's relationship with Barry's family and her status as his legal guardian. Recording of Barry Farnsworth's consent for access and use of his interview. Judy McKinty reads the citation on the certificate given to Sister Lindsey for her John Wilson Award.
