Summary

Lillie Belle Allen was from Aiken, South Carolina. On July 21, 1969, Lillie Belle and others were visiting the York, Pennsylvania area. During the visit, Ms Allen and friends encountered a group of armed individuals. Ms Allen was subsequently shot by a high powered rifle while moving from the back seat of the vehicle to the driver's seat in an attempt to escape danger. Ms Allen later died from her injuries.
