Summary

Christmas card issued by the Ballets Russes for their second tour of Australia in 1938-1939. The cover features six koalas on stage, five of them dancing and jumping. Their performance is being conducted by a lizard or goanna with baton. The sixth koala, looking astonished, is formally dressed and has a bouquet of flowers in his right paw. The scene depicted within a roundel. The other pages include facsimile signatures of the dancers and a map of Australia with the words Australian tour 1938-1939, Theatre Royal Sydney.
