Summary

An original artist's book by Richard Griffin created entirely by hand. The contents consist of engraved vignette illustrations from Eric Gill's Golden Cockerel ed. of The Canterbury tales which Griffin rescued from a water damaged copy to produce a work in the structure and aesthetic of Gill's artwork. Griffin displays his artistry and champion of the book arts.

Notes

Hand made binding of quarter crushed morocco over marbled boards with hand-cut contrasting title letters on hand-made paper.
