Biography/History

Mr Young (front row, third from left) captained a survey camp team in Canberra's first Australian football match held at Queanbeyan Park, 29 July 1911. Results were Survey Camp 3.3 (21), Federal City Club 2.8 (20), see Queanbeyan Age, 1 August 1911--Accompanying documentation.
