Poster of artwork advertising the Mambo exhibition. Artwork depicts a scene between two trees of a Holden car driven by a bearded man emerging from the sea onto land with 2 fish coming out of the sea ahead of the car. A koala and a possum are in either tree with the orange sun beating down from above. An oval caption in the trees reads 'Mambo self-cultural evolution'. An oval caption in a horizontal log at the foot of the artwork reads 'Amphibious sedan : after a billion years of random mutations the EK Holden emerged from the Southern ocean perfectly adapted to survive as a land-based vehicle'. Three lilies are shown flowering at either side of the log. A small fired-up engine is shown on the bottom left of the poster powered by Smirnoff Mule bottles with 'Fuelled by Mule' written underneath it.

Mambo Graphics, or simply Mambo, is an Australian surfwear company, established in 1984. It is best known for producing graphic designs with strong political, religious or humorous themes. Mambo was launched in 1984 as a T-shirt screen printing business within their screen printing factory "Phantom Screen printing". The Mental as Anything band member Reg Mombassa is famous for his Mambo designs.
