Fred Chaney talks of his early life, education and his first job in law. Chaney worked in New Guinea and returned to practise law in Perth. He discusses his political involvement and going to Canberra to work at Old Parliament House and the shift to the new Parliament House. Chaney documents his roles in Parliament and talks about a number of political issues and government responses to them.
