Chris Scott, born in Gympie, Queensland (1968) discusses his family background, parents and siblings, early memories of the family farm; being diagnosed with cerebral palsy; schooling; attending physical, occupational and speech therapy; playing sport; his employment as a records keeper with the Queensland Government; his employer's support of his sporting commitments; joining Sporting Wheelies; track and field events; being selected for interstate and international teams; the Atlanta Paralympic Games (1984); the Seoul Paralympic Games (1988); the Australian 1988 Paralympic Team; cycling; soccer; long jump; injury and rehabilitation; the Barcelona Paralympic Games (1992); cycling board tracks and velodromes; the Paralympic Games' changing cycle distances; receiving a scholarship from the Queensland Academy of Sport; coaches and other athletes.
