Roy Bell, retired boxer & showman, was recognised as one of the best spruikers on the show circuit. This tape follows his motivation of the crowds, introduction of the fighters and matching of opponents from the crowd. Bell can be heard feeding dialogue to both his own fighters and the supposed locals. The fighters in the crowd were often men from the troupe that were planted - better known as "gees".
