Folkloric recording. Silver Moon, born in Adelaide, S. Aust., is an activist, feminist and environmentalist. She talks about her education and activism from the age of 12 years of age; becoming involved with the feminist movement (1971); her involvement with the Women's Liberation Movement; working in women's health; going to Britain (1983); her involvement in the Greenham Common women's peace camp; the use of song and music in the protest and it's importance; returning to Australia (1988); her involvement in music; the Gay and Lesbian movement; moving to live on a farm near the mouth of the Murray River; becoming involved in the action to save the Murray, again using music and song as a strong means of spreading the message. She also sings songs from the women's peace camp.
