It is not clear whether the reward was offered by John Butler senior or junior. Both were born in Tipperary, Ireland. The son appears to have arrived in the area first and worked there as a blacksmith from the early 1850s. He was the proprietor of the Red Lion hotel in Kilmore from 1856. Both died in 1865, the son aged 44 on 16 August, and the father aged 77 on 23 September. aAlso available online at: http://nla.gov.au/nla.aus-vn5980849 aAn example of jobbing printing undertaken by the Kilmore Examiner newspaper, using wood type, in a combination of a bold Antique (or Egyptian) and a fat face Roman font with hairline serifs.10aButler, John. 0aBroadsideszVictoriazKilmore. 0aArsonzVictoriazKilmore. 0aWanted posterszVictoriazKilmore. 0aOffenses against propertyzVictoriazKilmore.41uhttp://nla.gov.au/nla.aus-vn5980849 aAustralian
