Part III has no volume number, title page reads: The laws of the forest and game: and also, of hunting, hawking, fishing, and fowling, according to the common and statute-laws of England. [London] : "In the Savoy Printed by J. Nutt for R. Bonwick [etc.], MDCCIX [1709].

Pages omitted in numbering: Pt. I, p. 190-191, 193-194; no loss of text.

Includes engraved plates, 1 is signed: F.H. Van Hoven sculp.

"B. Tooke" may be either Benjamin Tooke, d. 1716, or his son Benjamin Tooke, d. 1723, both of whom were active at this time.

NLA copy: Provenance. Originally owned by the Vyner family of Eathorpe in Warwickshire. Mr Thomas Vyner (1653-1708), head of the family in the late 17th- 18th century, included a passage in his will which stated that his library was not be sold, but pass to his descendants with the estate, demonstrating the value he placed on his book collection.

NLA copy: Includes an inscription by Thomas Vyner's grandson Robert Thomas Vyner (1804-1879) who inherited the estate in 1856.

NLA copy: Binding : Contemporary 17th century leather, gold tooled borders front & back covers & spine ,leather patch on spine, fore edges with red ink sprinkling.

NLA copy: includes 1 accompanying leaf of correspondence addressed to " J. Bevil Symthe", signed "Tontavon Tontontavon"
