Notes

Terrestrial pocket globe showing the track of Cook's first voyage, 1768-1771 with the discoveries of Australia and New Zealand. It also includes the track of Anson's circumnavigation 1740-1744.

Prime meridian: slightly west of Sandwich Islands.

Wooden concave case in two parts covered with black sharkskin and lined with celestial maps of the northern and southern sky.
