Folkloric recording. Alan Kyle, a retired truck operator, who was born in Kempsey, N.S.W., recalls his early life in Nulla Nulla; going to school at Nulla Creek (left at 13 years of age); local Aboriginal population; family's musical background; musical entertainment in the Nulla Nulla area; father played the fiddle, accompanied by Slim Dusty for dances; Tex Morton's influence on his musical style; Slim Dusty's father sang; growing up in isolation, Nulla Nulla being an isolated place near Kempsey; bush remedies; his war service during WWII; his truck transport business, established after WWII with his brother.
