- Inscriptions: "Negretti & Zambra Crystal Palace"--Printed on reverse; "1887 Dave Wallher Y4......Hochurt?"--In red on reverse.
- Condition: Good.
- The firm Negretti & Zambra, active from 1850 to ca. 1935, were the official photographers of the Crystal Place Company, 1854 and a producer of optical and scientific instruments based in London.
- Seven of the original nine Aboriginal people from Palm Island and Hinchinbrook communities that were taken by showman Robert A. Cunningham for Phineas T. Barnum and exhibited in America and Europe. Names identified as: Jenny, her son Toby, her husband Toby, Billy, Bob, Jimmy and Sussy.
