- Summary:
-
A collaborative artists' book of short fables by Gregory Day with drypoint etchings by Jiri Tibor Novak, consisting of twelve visual and written portraits of animal species introduced to the Australian continent after European colonisation. The work playfully reflects on the fashions of 'pure' ecologies and the ironies of pastoral eugenics, using both traditional engraving techniques and French folio construction, as well as contemporary digital text.
