The 'Melbourne Sirius' artist newspaper is a homage to newspapers and newspaper history in the city of Melbourne. It lists the name, birth and death date of 525 dead newspapers published in the Melbourne central business district from 1838 to 2014. Accompanying the listing are 175 photographs of mastheads (from The Abstainer, the Official Organ of the Grand Lodge of Victoria, to Zündnadeln, Blatter fur die heitere und ernste Welt) and bonus footnotes. Created as part of a 2013/14 State Library of Victoria creative fellowship. 525 free copies were distributed by hand by the artist and her two daughters (with the clarion calls of the paper boys and girls of the past) on Monday, 3 March 2014 from sites associated with Melbourne newspapers: the Old Herald Sun building (corner Flinders Street and Exhibition Street), Herald building (Collins Street, between Elizabeth and Swanston), Argus building (corner Elizabeth and La Trobe Streets), Old Age building (corner Spencer and Lonsdale Streets) and Age Media House (corner Collins and Spencer Street).

- Printed in an edition of 1000 copies.
- The stunning red and white starburst front and back cover references the old masthead stamps that were once used to indicate different editions: city extra, city final, stumps. Red was also the preferred ink colour for the 'Stop Press' boxes that used to contain late-breaking news.
