Summary

Letterbook comprising reproduced letters of the Imperial Federation League of Victoria documenting the activities and business of the League. Signed by the honorary secretaries J. Nightingale, 1889-1892, H. D'Esterre Taylor, 1892-1907, and E. Morris Miller, 1907-1910, the letters are copied in chronological order dating from 22 January, 1889-1 December, 1910. The index of recipients includes the Australian Natives' Association, Sir Edmund Barton, Major Brodribb, Sir Joseph Chamberlain, J. Hume Cook, Alfred Deakin, Sir J. McBain, Sir Malcolm McEacharn, Sir J.B. Patterson, Sir John Quick, Cecil Rhodes, Sir George Reid, J. Service, H.B. Taylor, Sir George Turner, Lord Tennyson and Edward A. Wilson.

A list of 99 subscribers entitled to receive the journal of the League from London, March 1894, appears on leaves 190-191. Also includes additional loose material relating to the League, including letters, information on resolutions of meetings and a meeting invitation.
