The collection includes: 1. Approx. 50 photographs amongst which are some of Mrs Greenwood and many of her pupils including Frances Duncan ("La Frankie"). 2. Photographs taken at the turn of the century of the circuses of Eroni Bros., Fitzgerald's, Wirth Bros., Mackies and Sole Bros. 3. A large number of advertising leaflets for concerts featuring circus and vaudeville acts at Melbourne suburban theatres, ca. 1920-1950. 4. Scrapbook and loose press cuttings covering many circus identities and events during the past 40 years. 5. Letters and personal papers relating to the Greenwood family.

Agnes Greenwood's career dates back to the 1890's when she appeared in her family circus as a tumbler and contortionist. For many years in Melbourne she conducted a school for circus performers and acrobats.
