- Library's SRq COOK 55 (formerly SRq/ef 910.4 C771 P486) is from the complete green stamped Petherick set consisting of 11 titles including various editions of the three official accounts (B648, B1217, B1553); Parkinson (B714); Forster's Account (B1247), Observations (B1262) and Characteres (B1385 - title page inscribed in ink, "Boutelou", presumably a copy previously owned by Spanish botanist and gardener, Esteban Boutelou); Observations by Wales (B719) and Bayly (B1287); Kippis (B32); Samwell (B1620) and atlas (B1553). The 15 volume texts and atlas with spine title: Cook's voyages. Each volume has a second spine title for the title of the work. Entire set with atlas is 16 volumes bound.
- Library's SRq COOK 23 (formerly SRq 910.4 C771 F733) copy contains the Chippendale armorial bookplate of Thos. Woodward; stamped Parliament of the Commonwealth Library and accession no. 13662.
- Library's Petherick copy (SRq COOK 24, formerly SRq2 910.4 C771 F733 and RBNq 581.94 FOR) has blue and orange marbled endpapers and plates bound together at end; base copy with plates interleaved with text; this copy is more closely cut than the copy accessioned 13662.
