Lamond talks about her childhood memories; long family association with show business; early radio work and her mother's work as a performer. She then talks about some of the comics that she has worked with, in particular, George Wallace and Tommy Trinder, and working with Gladys Moncrieff and George Wallace in "Gay Fiesta". Lamond then discusses her enjoyment of comedy work; performing in "Pajama Game" in Melbourne and Sydney; meeting and marrying Frank Sheldon and working together in a song and dance act. She then describes her involvement with "In Melbourne Tonight", becoming, in 1961, the first woman in the world to host a tonight show; working on "The Noel Ferrier Show"; views on "Mike Walsh Show" and on being a TV personality.
Lamond then talks about her recording work; performing in "Oliver" as Nancy and the shows she was involved in when she moved to Sydney. She then discusses going to England in 1968; health problems; "Gypsy"; going to America and working in "Starsky and Hutch" and "Annie". Lamond then considers her plans for the future which could include working with sister, Helen Reddy, and writing.
