Conversation: discusses his brothers Ted and Laurie who carved in wood, also Ralph Lowe's wood-carvings, refers to the night hawk as the Old Man of the Mountains, how musical his siblings were, how his mother played concertina and sang, recalls dances in his grandparent's home, how dance music was played on concertinas, accordions and violin, how his grandparents Hibberd came out by boat from England, how his grandfather was a shepherd at Nundle, N.S.W., explains the work of shepherding, how Jackson Knox had 15 children, recalls fiddlers Mick Knox and Jackson Knox. 2. Old Mother Boodgery (whistling). 3. Song: Old Mother Boodgery. 4. Old Mother Boodgery (mouth-organ) 5. Green grow the rushes-o (lilting). 6. Old Mother Boodgery (mouth-organ). 7.
