Jock Looby discusses his son Keith Looby, an artist. Looby speaks about his first job as a tar boy in the shearing sheds; he describes what station life was like at that time, in particular meat safes and bed bugs; he describes the working conditions at a sugar mill where he worked at the age of 20; the depression; familys survival at that time; he explains why the Depression was one of the major reasons that he joined the Communist Party; how he bought his own taxi; Keith's childhood and how he suffered badly from asthma when he was a baby; how he had to bring Keith and the other children up by himself after their mother died; briefly about the business he set up with his son Harvey; speaks about his own present life style and his second wife; Keith's art exhibition in Italy; the influence Keith's sister Audrey had on him after the death of their mother; his son's series of political pictures and how he feels about them and goes on to talk about Keith's political beliefs; discusses the possibility of getting some of Keith Looby's press cuttings showing his work over the last few years from Jock.
