Conversation: Sherriff talks about games played during Empire Day celebrations; the Depression, including how they shared with poorer families; playing the piano at church; how she played tunes for dances at 13 years old; Lancers and Alberts; the dances of the time and the role of the MC; playing with the band (which included a coronet, drum and Swanee Whistle) and her husband; how she now plays at clubs and at social occasions; the pay she used to get for playing the piano; some family history; vamping waltz time, other vamping tunes and Polka time.

Singing: Sherriff sings fragments of Ring the bell watchman and When the poppies bloom again. 3 Tunes: She plays the following tunes on the piano- Little brown jug; 3 hop polka; Can I polka, yes I can; Clementine; Woodland whisper; Little Mr Baggy Britches; How would you like to spoon with me; Ring the bell + watchman; Soldiers of the King; Around the corner and under the trees; Bridget O'Flynn; When you and I were young dear; Irish washerwoman and Highland fling; My love she's but lassie; Going round the mountain; Waltz tunes for the Alberts; Irish eyes; When the poppies bloom again; Prince of Wales Schottische; Golden slippers; Redwing; and Give me a home where the buffalo roam.
