The collection consists of photographs taken during an oral history interview. The interviewer Ann-Mari Jordens is also in some of the photographs.
- Biography/History:

Bookseller and yachtsman. Dalton began his career in 1955 at Dymocks in Sydney followed by Cheshires in Canberra in 1962. In 1968 he established Dalton Publishing Company and Dalton's Bookshop. He was an office-holder in the New South Wales Booksellers Association (1978-1979) and the Australian Booksellers Association (1980-1984). He was active in ACT community and yachting organisations and in 1985-1993 was yachting columnist with The Canberra Times.
