The reform agenda for Business Services included an allocation of $25.4 million (May 2003 budget) to address the individual needs of Business Services. The promotion of business sustainability occured through funding business reviews and initiatives to address barriers to sustainability raised in the reviews. One area identified during the business review process was the provision of industry specific assistance. This project was undertaken primarily to ascertain the views of Business Services regarding the benefits of industry specific assistance for Business Services in the recycling industry.
