A collection of photographs compiled by Norman Hyde of Northcote, Victoria, devoted to the earliest days of Australian gliding as shown by the activities of the Gliding Club of Victoria. Gliding in Australia was effectively unknown until a 1929 National geographic article created almost instant interest in gliding.
