The Japanese print was one issue of a visual newspaper; published as visual version of a newspaper titled, Tokyo Nichi Nichi Shinbun since 1874. This print maker, Yoshiiku Ochiai was the person who started this style of woodblock print publication in newspaper publications; this style of publication was popular as souvenir for people who visited Tokyo.

- Title from item; print maker's name is printed as Ikkeisai Yoshiiku.
- Reference found on p.131 of a book titled 'Bunmei Kaika no nishikie shinbun' published in 2008 in Tokyo by Kokusho Kankokai.
- The original newspaper issue with that story was published on June 30, 1875; no date is written on this print version.
- The numbering in the title only indicates the issue number of the original newspaper.
- A woman is being brown away by some ghost who came down with the dark clouds; the text explains a story of a wife being attacked by the ghost and then got gentler to her husband's family.
