Keith Lethbridge born in County Kent, England, talks about arriving in Australia with his parents in 1950; developing a love for the bush in his childhood; learning about music and playing various instruments; his interest in poetry; working in the Kimberley region at the age of 16; describes his various occupations; mentions songs sung, square dancing and learning guitar; mentions his walkabouts in the Kimberley region and his contacts with Aboriginal people; his occupations with the Kimberley Research Station, and later with Aboriginal Affairs Department and Native Welfare Department; talks about his previous marriage and his current wife; his philosophy on the management of aspects of Indigenous affairs and management of Aboriginal properties. Sings several songs, recites poems, including his own poems, and plays a variety of musical instruments.
