Alliance (variantly known as the South Australian Temperance Alliance, 1900?-1917, and the South Australian Alliance for the Abolition of the Liquor Traffic, 1918-1925) changed its name in 1925 to the South Australian Prohibition League, in 1932 changed it back to the South Australian Alliance (or the S.A. Alliance or the South Australian Alliance for the Abolition of the Liquor Traffic by the Will of the People), in 1947 changed it to the Temperance Alliance of South Australia and in 1986 changed it to the South Australian Temperance Alliance. Works by these bodies are found under the name used at the time of publication
