Connection details for Z39.50

Libraries can connect to the Australian National Bibliographic Database (ANBD) via the Z39.50 protocol to search and download records into their local library management system. Contact Trove Partner Support for more details about connecting to the ANBD and Libraries Australia Search.

To connect to the National Library of Australia Catalogue via the Z39.50 protocol, see the NLA Catalogue configuration details.

Library users can set up an EndNote connection to the NLA Catalogue via the Z39.50 protocol, to organise references, images and create bibliographies. The commercial software requires a connection file to access the National Library's catalogue which is available from the EndNote website. Save this file as Natl Lib of Australia.enz with the existing EndNote connection files stored on your computer.
