Weinberg, born in 1948 at Trelleborg, Sweden, talks of his early years in Sweden and the United States before coming to Melbourne in the late 1950s, his school years, his experiences at Monash University and at Oxford, touring Europe, returning to Australia in 1972, to take up a position as lecturer at the University of New South Wales, his experience as Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, from 1988-1991 before returning to his national practice in Victoria.
