Arthur Morrison, discusses his family life and background; his father born Bundanoon (1876), moving to the Illawarra, a miner at Coalcliff and Scarborough also a butcher, horse breaker, sleeper cutter; president and/or secretary of different lodges; his involvement in setting up Colac Hospital (1917); Bulli Council recognising his father's community service and named Morrison Avenue after him; father a gardener, grew vegetables; mother made clothes; miners used handdrills, some mines three foot six high, working down on knees; poor air quality; mine accidents; miners mostly illiterate; WWI Waratahs march from Nowra to Liverpool army camp to enlist; railways during the war; stealing coal.
