Wenberg speaks about being taken from Bateman's Bay at the age of 6 months to Bomaderry Children's Home, N.S.W. At the age of 12, she was moved to Cootamundra Girls' Home where she was permitted limited contact with her mother. She talks about the emotional impact of the separation on her mother. Wenberg was later sent to Parramatta Girls' Home after she ran away. She also speaks about her husband who was also removed and about the continuing effects of removal.
