Summary

A diary kept by Captain J. D. Forbes, an officer who sailed on the convict ship "Guildford". The captain of the ship was Magnus Johnson and Charles Linton was the surgeon. The third mate was George Lynch Cotton.

Biography/History

The diary was kept by Captain J. D. Forbes, of the 39th Regiment, who was an officer on the ship "Guildford" from London to Sydney in 1827.
