Original typescript draft of the text of "Cooey, or The trackers of Glenferry: a true Australian story", which was written and illustrated by William Strutt.

Biography/History

Strutt was an artist and draughtsman who came to Australia from England in 1850. He returned to London in 1862, and was a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy. He is chiefly remembered for his depiction of the "Black Thursday" bushfire in Victoria, 6th February 1851.
