Summary

1. Notebook, marked no. 1. Alphabetically arranged by subject. Places where particular smelting works etc. found stamped on. Contains letter authorisation for Mr. Jager to collect outstanding accounts of G. S. Eldridge Co. MS. notes, tables, figures, a few printed clippings. 2. Notebook marked No. 2, 1905. Alphabetically arranged by subject. 3. Notebook n.d (c.1938-1943). Not-alphabetical. Contains typescript memoranda, submissions, printed tables, MS. tables etc. Flow sheet, notes on smelters, notes on various topics eq. agglomeration, Kiwarshan Smeltering Plant. 4. One folder labelled "miscellaneous" contains pamphlets, folders including "Description of Smelting Works", map "Plan of Rio Tinto Works" 5. Pocket of visiting cards. 6. Pressed frangipani.

Australian mining engineer, 1878-1963. Worked chiefly in America and Spain.
