Summary

Hansen speaks about being removed from his mother as a very young child and taken to The Bungalow in Alice Springs, then to Philip Creek. Later he was transferred to Croker Island where he remained until the age of 18. He describes the journey to Croker Island and the harsh living conditions on the Island. Hanson also speaks about his relationship with one of the cottage mothers, being forced to leave the Island when he turned 18, his reunion with his mother, and the loss of his culture.
