Story of Molly Mallett, full name Mary Frances Maynard (Auntie Molly Mallett) daughter of James Henry Paul Maynard and Augusta Lavinia Mansel and a descendant of Manalargenna, leader of the Cape Portland tribe; she was one of twelve children in her family and grew up 1930s on Cape Barren Island; describes her childhood experiences of school and family life, dancing competition and sport events, traditions.
