Summary

Winch, an Aboriginal health worker & Commissioner on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission, talks about her childhood, work, studies and family. She describes the various hospitals in which she has worked; health problems of Aboriginal people and the work she did with the Aboriginal Medical Service; the setting up of Marr Mooditj as a health worker training college and her hopes for its future as part of an Aboriginal university. Winch also discusses her spiritual beliefs and her views on health care and various issues affecting Aboriginal people.
