The Sunday panel 1. Prime Minister Hawke backs away from tax reform. It's too big a challenge. 2. US President Reagan runs into a PR row when he announces his intention to visit Bitburg military cemetery while on a visit to Germany. Jewish and veterans groups do not approve because it contains the graves of some SS soldiers. 3. Russ Hinze, Minister for Local government, Main Roads and Racing in the Queensland Government finds himself in the public spotlight when there are calls for the removal of Sir Edward Lyons, Chairman of the Queensland TAB over his (Lyons) telephone betting account with his own TAB, against all the rules.--Information provided by Geoff Pryor.
