- National Library of Australia's copy inscribed "Emily Beatrice Paull, Nov. 1881"; and "Mrs Palmer, 4 Amhurst Villas, West Hackney" - Emily was born into the Paull family of brewers, her grandmother Mrs Elizabeth Sarah Palmer (1788-1847) being a daughter of Peter Joseph Ratley (1756-1831) who dealt in drawings and curiosities from 21 Dukes Court, St Martins in c1795-1822.
- Catalogue includes items from Leverian Museum and Duchess of Portland collection (marked "P.M.").
