George King, on the assimilation of Dravidians from South India; comparison of original tribes using chipped implements with newer race using ground implements; brief discussion of regional prehistoric evolution and fossil remains; records collection of chipped implements in Tasmania and Boat Harbour, near Cronulla, N.S.W. in 1891; photographs show a ground stone axe and similarities in Australian and Tasmanian chipped implements; quotes Dr. Alan Carroll in Science of Man comparing types of weapons used by each race and spread of place names to Australia; suggests introduction of dingo as further evidence and notes halt in spread of newer implements to Tasmania despite possible land link.
